Creative Reflections

About this space

This blog is a reflective space where I explore themes of healing, connection, fear, and creativity through an art therapy lens.

Some reflections are inspired by films, books, or television that capture something essential about the human experience. Others emerge from my own ongoing learning — through lived experience, professional development, and themes that often arise in therapeutic work.

I write as both a therapist and a human being. I don’t believe therapists are all-knowing, but I do believe safety is created through reflection, ethical boundaries, and a commitment to personal growth. Where I include myself, it is done gently and with care.

This space is not intended as therapy or clinical guidance, but as an invitation to think, feel, and reflect — whether you are considering therapy, already in therapy, or are a fellow practitioner interested in reflective practice.

My hope is that these reflections feel containing, thoughtful, and human.
